Our mental health therapy team operates out of a community health clinic based in Clifton, New Jersey, and services are provided in a remote setting, allowing flexibility while ensuring accessibility for our clients. As a therapist, you will engage with individuals through virtual consultations, enabling you to impact patient lives positively from anywhere. While our core hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, we appreciate the need for flexibility to accommodate the diverse schedules and needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally informed mental health assessments that capture the unique experiences and needs of each patient.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to clients' backgrounds and circumstances.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on addressing mental health concerns and promoting healing and resilience.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.

• Offer crisis intervention support, ensuring timely assistance during mental health emergencies and providing immediate resources for patients in distress.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, enhancing their understanding and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• A deep understanding of mental health disorders and treatment methodologies, specifically tailored to diverse cultural and social contexts.

• Demonstrated experience delivering both individual and group therapy in a way that is culturally inclusive and responsive to patient needs.

• Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills, alongside excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to relate to clients effectively.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software to ensure smooth operation and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
