Work Environment\n

This full-time position is predominantly remote, allowing for flexibility in managing your schedule while catering to the needs of patients. While the majority of your work might occur from home, members of our team occasionally collaborate in our outpatient office, engaging in case consultations and team meetings, ensuring a sense of community and support among colleagues.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify client needs and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based approaches.

• Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy utilizing a variety of modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, tailored to address specific mental health concerns.

• Develop and facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at fostering community and addressing shared concerns among participants.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure clients receive holistic and well-coordinated care.

• Provide crisis intervention services and real-time support during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance for clients in distress.

• Educate patients about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, promoting self-awareness and informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and strategies, contributing to a collaborative team dynamic.

• Stay abreast of current research and advancements in the mental health field to enhance therapeutic practices and personal professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a member of our team, you will work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds, focusing on marginalized groups that often face barriers to mental health care. This includes providing specialized support to ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants, all within a culturally competent framework. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current and valid independent license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong interpersonal skills coupled with proficiency in computer systems and technology relevant to teletherapy.

• A deep understanding of mental health disorders, effective treatment modalities, and the importance of cultural competence in therapeutic settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from $70,000 to $100,000, complemented by a sign-on bonus to reward your commitment to our mission.
