Work Environment\n

This role offers a flexible remote work setting, providing you with the autonomy to manage your schedule while maintaining strong communication with your team. While the core hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, there may be some flexibility required to accommodate the needs of your patients. We also offer a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive assessments to understand patients’ unique backgrounds, experiences, and mental health needs, leading to the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual clients, ensuring consideration of their cultural and personal contexts.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on enhancing coping strategies and resilience to improve overall mental health outcomes.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during emergencies, utilizing your training and experience to manage acute situations effectively.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and various community resources, fostering empowerment and understanding.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring best practice in information management.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training to enhance service delivery and team cohesion.

• Stay abreast of current research and best practices in mental health therapy, particularly those that intersect with cultural considerations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The individual in this role will work with a wide range of patients, including those from diverse ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+ populations, and immigrant communities. You will address various mental health conditions while being sensitive to the cultural nuances that may impact treatment and recovery. Your efforts will directly contribute to promoting wellness among these populations and creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for healing.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
\n
• Demonstrated cultural competence in delivering therapy that acknowledges and respects diverse backgrounds.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy, employing culturally responsive approaches.
\n
• Proficient crisis intervention skills, with the capability to remain composed in high-stress situations.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients from various cultural backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.
\n
• A commitment to ethical practice including maintaining professional boundaries, confidentiality, and adherence to ethical guidelines.

• A collaborative mindset for working effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within community health settings, particularly with underserved populations.

• Advanced training in culturally responsive practices or fluency in additional languages is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, along with a robust benefits package.
