Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally appropriate mental health assessments and evaluations to understand each patient’s unique circumstances and needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapies that resonate with the cultural and personal contexts of each patient.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that address a variety of mental health concerns, fostering resilience and recovery.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other therapists, to ensure cohesive and holistic patient care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, adapting responses sensitively to the patient's cultural background.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to enhance connectivity and support systems.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential case documentation aligned with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case reviews, team discussions, and ongoing training focused on cultural competency.

• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and advocacy relevant to mental health therapy, ensuring our strategies are always forward-thinking.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is mandatory.

• Deep understanding of various mental health disorders and the ability to apply evidence-based practices in treatment.

• Demonstrable experience in delivering culturally responsive individual and group therapy.

• Profound crisis intervention skills, coupled with a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective rapport building with a diverse clientele.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications is a must.

• Commitment to maintaining high professional standards, including ethical guidelines and confidentiality.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting while honoring diverse perspectives.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a telehealth setting or familiarity with teletherapy modalities is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
