This full-time position, based in Riverside, California, offers a unique opportunity to provide impactful mental health services in a remote setting, catering to a multicultural patient base.

Work Environment\n

This role will be conducted remotely, enabling you to connect with clients in the comfort and convenience of their own homes or preferred environments. Our community health clinic is dedicated to enriching the lives of its patients by breaking down barriers to access and promoting a holistic approach to mental wellness. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. While generally structured, flexibility may be required on occasion to accommodate the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to better understand each patient's unique context and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, carefully structured to address both the psychological and cultural dimensions of individual patients' experiences.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing patients' resilience, coping strategies, and overall mental well-being.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
\n
• Provide urgent crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing mental health emergencies, helping stabilize situations and connect them with necessary resources.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment alternatives, and community resources, empowering them with the knowledge to make informed decisions.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards, efficiently utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in case conferences, team collaborations, and cultural competency training sessions to enhance personal and team effectiveness.

• Remain current on the latest research, best practices, and cultural considerations in mental health, incorporating them into therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve a diverse patient population, including individuals from ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ communities, and immigrant groups. Our practice emphasizes the importance of understanding each patient’s unique cultural background and personal experiences, ensuring they receive inclusive and responsive mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• A solid grounding in mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies, with a strong emphasis on cultural competence in therapy.
\n
• Proven experience delivering individual and group therapy, showcasing an ability to engage culturally diverse populations effectively.
\n
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with a capacity to stay calm and composed in high-stress situations.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to establish rapport quickly with a wide variety of individuals.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to healthcare documentation.
\n
• A demonstrated commitment to maintaining ethical guidelines, professional boundaries, and patient confidentiality.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment, demonstrating both initiative and a willingness to learn.

Compensation and Benefits\n
