Work Environment\n

This position allows for remote work while being part of our vibrant outpatient office. While our standard operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, flexibility in scheduling is sometimes necessary to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial and ongoing culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gauge patients' needs and develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), that align with individuals' cultural backgrounds.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address mental health challenges, enhance coping skills, and build resilience amongst patients.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, employing de-escalation techniques and offering immediate support to individuals in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and relevant community resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation, adhering to ethical standards in mental health practices.

• Engage in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training to enhance collaborative practices and continual personal development.

• Remain abreast of emerging research and innovations in mental health therapy to ensure the practice remains at the forefront of care delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Colorado.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methods, along with a commitment to cultural competence in therapeutic settings.

• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy using inclusive and responsive approaches tailored to diverse populations.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills, paired with the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the creation of trusting relationships with patients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant technological tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
