Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to identify clients' mental health issues, formulate clinical diagnoses, and design tailored treatment plans that cater to their unique needs.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant approaches.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients facing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stability.

• Maintain precise and confidential client documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment outcomes, following ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, engaging with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to deliver holistic care.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment strategies, and available community resources, while advocating for their rights and individual needs.

• Commit to ongoing professional development by actively participating in training, workshops, and relevant educational opportunities to stay abreast of industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients served by Avis Counseling Center range across various demographics, including adolescents, adults, and families dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will focus on providing a supportive and empathetic environment, allowing clients to feel heard and understood during their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) is required.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related discipline.

• At least two years of relevant experience in a mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
