Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns and formulate clinical diagnoses that guide treatment planning.

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, tailored to each client's specific goals.

• Offering crisis intervention and support during acute mental health crises or emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely and effective assistance.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care and support to clients.

• Educating clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, fostering empowerment and engagement in their own care.

• Remaining current with best practices in mental health therapy through ongoing training and participation in workshops and other professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with adults who present a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. The center serves clients from diverse backgrounds, valuing cultural competence and tailoring services to meet varied needs. Your work will not only aid individuals but also extend to couples and families, helping them to restore and enhance their relationships through effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Licensed as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW).

• At least a Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
