Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR techniques, to assist clients in managing stress and enhancing their mental health.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments for new clients to identify their unique stressors, mental health challenges, and personal goals.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions incorporating mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques tailored to each client's needs.

• Lead group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and resilience-building strategies to help clients thrive.

• Collaborate with colleagues and healthcare providers to create comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions provided, and the effectiveness of treatment plans.

• Engage in your own mindfulness practice, continually reflecting on your work and seeking professional development opportunities to improve your skills in MBSR and related methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and may seek therapy for a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Your expertise will enable you to provide tailored mental health support, allowing clients to build self-awareness, resilience, and enhanced coping mechanisms that significantly improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Strong proficiency in mindfulness practices and techniques integrated into therapeutic interventions.

• Excellent communication skills with a capacity to create a calming and supportive therapeutic environment, enabling clients to feel safe and understood.

Preferred Experience\n

• Extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or similar frameworks is preferred but not mandatory.
