Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings for school-aged children to identify mental health needs and establish treatment goals.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address each student's unique psychological and emotional challenges.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness Practices to effectively engage students.

• Maintain collaborative relationships with school staff, parents, and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated support system for students.

• Provide psychoeducation to families, helping them understand their child's mental health issues and promoting active family involvement in the therapeutic process.

• Document all therapy sessions and maintain confidentiality in compliance with ethical guidelines and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents within the school setting, addressing a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related challenges. Qualifications\n

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field. Advanced degrees preferred.

• A minimum of two years of practical experience in mental health counseling, particularly with children and adolescents.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with students and effectively communicate with parents and staff.
