Healing Hearts Counseling is seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) to join our dynamic team in providing remote school-based counseling support. This full-time position is dedicated to improving the mental health outcomes of students by implementing personalized therapy and evidence-based interventions tailored to meet their unique needs.

Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide critical counseling services from the comfort of your own home while supporting students across various school settings. Our work schedule generally runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. You will be equipped with innovative tools and resources to effectively engage with patients and monitor their progress remotely.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify each student's needs and develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize their mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective counseling services to students, their families, and educational staff.

• Organize and facilitate psychoeducational and support groups for students to build community and address prevalent mental health issues, such as stress management and healthy coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, educators, and social workers to ensure a holistic approach to each student's care.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention services when required, providing immediate support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate students and families about mental health resources, treatment options, and community support services available to them.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in ongoing case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative learning experiences and improve therapeutic practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with children, adolescents, and their families within the school system. By providing tailored therapy, you will help them navigate a range of emotional and psychological challenges. Working with this population requires sensitivity and insight into their specific developmental and social contexts.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid professional licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic approaches, and the ability to implement evidence-based treatments effectively.

• Demonstrated experience conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and crafting constructive treatment plans.

• Previous experience in delivering individual and group therapy, particularly with diverse populations and within educational settings.

• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

• Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain professional boundaries within therapeutic relationships.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient care efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of documented experience as a mental health therapist, preferably within a school setting or with children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n
