Insightful Journeys Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated, full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist—specifically an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW—to join our dynamic team in Rockford, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialized mental health care to children and adolescents, addressing their emotional and psychological challenges while working within a holistic and collaborative framework.

Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, enabling you to connect with families and children in need from the comfort of your own home. Our work schedule includes Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs. This allows for a balanced work-life dynamic while meeting the needs of our diverse client population.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the individual needs of children and adolescents.

• Collaborate with our team of experienced child psychiatrists to develop and implement tailored treatment plans, factoring in developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions for a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.
\n
• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at strengthening support systems for young patients and their caregivers.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education opportunities to stay up to date with best practices and advancements in child and adolescent therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges. Your compassionate approach and expertise will directly influence their healing journeys. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and effective treatment modalities.

• Experience delivering individual and family therapy to young individuals, demonstrating a compassionate and child-centered approach.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and computer applications.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team for coordinated patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer a sign-on bonus as an incentive to attract top talent.
