Renewal Inner Harmony Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our specialized child and adolescent psychiatry team in Riverside, California. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work while also being part of our outpatient office. Work Environment\n

This role offers a unique work environment that blends remote flexibility with the supportive structure of our outpatient office. Our team operates primarily Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. While the majority of your responsibilities can be fulfilled remotely, you will have opportunities to engage in in-person consultations and teamwork at our Riverside office.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand the developmental and emotional needs of children and adolescents, ensuring tailored care plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies that reflect evidence-based practices while accounting for familial and cultural dynamics.

• Provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and family therapy, to address issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders.

• Deliver guidance and support to families through therapy sessions that foster an inclusive and nurturing home environment for their children.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and allied health professionals to create a cohesive treatment approach that supports the overall wellbeing of young patients.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support and action plans during mental health emergencies.

• Educate families about various mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to take an active role in recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents struggling with a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. You will work closely with young clients and their families, developing trust and rapport to facilitate meaningful therapeutic relationships. Your role is vital in making impactful connections that can significantly change the trajectory of a child's mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A strong foundation in child and adolescent mental health disorders along with comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Proven experience providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on a compassionate and collaborative approach.

• Ability to establish rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families effectively.

• Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
