Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health needs, developing individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing their specific challenges and goals.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions, both virtually and, when necessary, in person.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans, utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems to track outcomes and adjustments in therapy.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to each client’s care, including possible referrals to additional services when needed.

• Participate in regular clinical supervision and teamwork meetings to support fellow clinicians and engage in case discussions to continuously enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Calm and Sense Counseling, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, families, and adults facing various mental health challenges. Your expertise will help support individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological disorders, always striving to deliver culturally affirming and inclusive care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in a related mental health field is required.

• Current California licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT, or the ability to obtain licensure within an agreed-upon timeframe.

• Demonstrated experience providing therapeutic services to a varied client base, including those from different backgrounds and life experiences.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to building rapport with clients and treating them with respect and empathy.

• A deep dedication to delivering culturally competent and affirming care that acknowledges each client’s unique identity and experiences.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

• Experience in trauma-informed care and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR.

• Ability to navigate and utilize electronic health record systems effectively for documenting therapy sessions and tracking client progress.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for the Licensed Mental Health Counselor position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a benefits package that includes:
