Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments with children and adolescents to identify emotional, behavioral, and psychological needs.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists, educators, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care that addresses all facets of the child's development.

• Provide crisis intervention strategies during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety for our young clients.

• Educate families about mental health conditions, treatment processes, and available community resources, promoting empowerment and awareness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at our center, you will primarily work with children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral issues. Your role is vital in providing a safe space for these young individuals to express their thoughts and feelings, fostering resilience and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Demonstrated understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities.

• Exceptional communication, empathy, and rapport-building skills with children and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
