Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, leveraging telehealth technology to provide therapy sessions and consultations. A flexible work schedule, primarily Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts, ensures your availability aligns with patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the specific needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that take into account developmental stages, family dynamics, and psychiatric best practices.

• Respond to mental health crises involving minors, providing immediate intervention and guidance during emergencies.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of treatment plans and patient interactions, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers around providing mental health support to children and adolescents experiencing a diverse array of challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and behavioral issues. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will play a crucial role in both preventive and responsive care, ensuring that children receive the necessary support to thrive.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current, valid license, such as LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or a state-licensed Psychologist.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure work experience is preferred to ensure competency in delivering therapeutic services.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively conduct therapy with children and families using a compassionate and tailored approach.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of rapport and trust with both young patients and their families.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, virtual therapy tools, and other relevant software applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
