Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, utilizing a telehealth model that allows flexibility and convenience for both therapists and clients. You will conduct therapy sessions virtually, ensuring a supportive and therapeutic setting for children and adolescents who may need assistance but prefer the comfort of their home environment. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required to accommodate patients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to determine the unique needs of children and adolescents, which includes assessing emotional, behavioral, and psychological aspects.

• Develop, monitor, and adjust individualized treatment plans that are developmentally appropriate and consider family dynamics, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, offering strategies to help families foster a supportive home environment for the patient.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists, educators, and community resources to ensure the delivery of well-rounded, integrated care.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment strategies, and available community resources for ongoing support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience in mental health counseling is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly in the context of child and adolescent mental health.

• Demonstrated proficiency in managing individual and family therapy sessions effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
