Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, providing the flexibility needed to deliver effective mental health care from home while utilizing Telehealth technologies. Operating hours for this position are Monday to Friday, with standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while occasional evening shifts may be required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that take into account developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address a variety of mental health concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, helping parents and caregivers develop supportive strategies in a nurturing environment.

• Collaborate effectively with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies involving young individuals.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation aligned with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and opportunities for professional development to stay informed about advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position centers around providing care to children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and behavioral issues. As a Mental Health Therapist at Silver Lining Counseling, you will work closely with young clients and their families, supporting them through therapeutic experiences that encourage healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
\n
• Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches relevant to children and adolescents.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and family therapy to young clients.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and child-focused approach.
\n
• Ability to build rapport and foster trust among children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• Willingness to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

We are looking for candidates who possess at least two years of experience in a mental health counseling setting. Experience specifically in child and adolescent therapy is highly desirable, as is familiarity with telehealth platforms and methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
