Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing a variety of tools to evaluate the unique needs of children and adolescents.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans, taking into account developmental stages, family dynamics, and cultural considerations.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other methodologies, to address mental health challenges faced by young patients.

• Maintain open communication with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.

• Provide crisis intervention support, navigating mental health emergencies with sensitivity and expertise.

• Keep meticulous and confidential records using our electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering to legal and ethical documentation standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents dealing with a wide spectrum of mental health issues. By providing tailored therapy and interventions, you will directly impact their emotional health and developmental progress. You will work with children ages 5-18 and their families, ensuring that interventions are age-appropriate and effective.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing mental health counseling, with a preferred focus on children and adolescents.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches.

• Proven experience facilitating both individual and family therapy sessions effectively.

• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a warm and compassionate approach that builds trust with young clients and their families.

• Competency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
