This role will predominantly be conducted in a remote setting, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while still providing essential care to our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents, considering their developmental stages and family contexts.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions tailored to address a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, helping to engage parents and caregivers in fostering a nurturing, supportive environment for their children.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive, holistic care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and effective support for those in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to promote informed decision-making and access to care.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing training to stay abreast of latest research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling capacity is required, applicants with background in family therapy, school-based settings, or community mental health may hold an advantage. Compensation and Benefits\n
