Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand the individual needs of children and adolescents, incorporating family dynamics and developmental stages.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that address specific mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders, ensuring evidence-based interventions are utilized.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, offering therapeutic techniques tailored to the age and unique challenges faced by each patient.

• Implement family therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication and support within households, equipping caregivers with strategies to foster a nurturing environment.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care, actively participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment adjustments.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support to address emergency mental health situations involving children and adolescents.

• Educate children, adolescents, and their families about different mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their healing journeys.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• In-depth understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic methodologies, and evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Proven experience providing individual and family therapy to young individuals.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, child-centered approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience\n
