Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents, considering their developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches, ensuring alignment with best practices in child mental health.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions including individual and family therapy, utilizing tailored techniques to address issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral challenges.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary team members to provide holistic and coordinated care for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention services during critical mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of young individuals and their families.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient progress and treatment strategies in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development sessions to enhance skills and stay updated on the latest advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers on working with children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. You will play a key role in helping young individuals navigate their mental health journeys, ensuring they receive compassionate care tailored to their unique life experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in working with children and adolescents.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders prevalent among youth, along with knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing child-centered care.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable using telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
