Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), in individual, group, and family therapy settings.

• Document all client interactions accurately and in compliance with agency standards, including treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome assessments.

• Engage in regular weekly supervision sessions with the clinical director or lead therapist to enhance your clinical skills and receive feedback.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate various therapeutic approaches and optimize patient care.

• Provide education and resources to clients and families to empower them in their mental health journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role is primarily on child and adolescent patients, offering therapy that addresses a range of behavioral health issues. You will work closely with families to foster a cohesive treatment approach. Additionally, cross-training opportunities may arise to expand your expertise in adult therapy, further broadening your impact on diverse populations, including those managing depression, anxiety, and trauma.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
\n
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required.
\n
• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practices.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a healthcare team and effectively communicate with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience specializing in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance misuse is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
