Work Environment\n

This position is based remotely; however, you will occasionally participate in collaborative team meetings at our outpatient office in Joliet. We create a supportive and collegial environment where you can engage with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers—ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care for our clients. Regular business hours with occasional evening shifts allow for flexibility while maintaining client-centered care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health needs to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving optimum outcomes.

• Implement therapy utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the client’s unique circumstances, offering sessions for individuals, groups, and families.

• Collaborate extensively with other professionals, including case managers and psychiatrists, to provide cohesive support for each client’s care journey.

• Deliver crisis intervention strategies and support to clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring they receive timely assistance during emergencies.

• Participate in community outreach and educational initiatives to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse patient population includes children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional disturbances. You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients from varied backgrounds, which requires a nuanced understanding of cultural, socioeconomic, and personal factors influencing mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field is required.

Preferred Experience\n
