Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to discern the specific needs of clients, enabling the development of personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individual clients, couples, and families using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, fostering a sense of community and shared experience among participants.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to create a unified approach to client care.

• Provide crisis intervention services and offer immediate support in mental health emergencies, guiding clients towards stabilization.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available resources within the community.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and training sessions to foster a collaborative work environment and remain informed about the latest advancements in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with diverse adult clients facing an array of mental health issues. This may include individuals struggling with severe mental health conditions, children and adolescents facing adjustment challenges, or families impacted by systemic stressors such as economic hardship. Your capacity to demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity will be vital in building trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• Strong foundation in mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey treatment plans and facilitate group discussions.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
