Work Environment\n

This role is remote, which provides you with flexibility and opportunities to create a balanced work-life blend. However, you will be part of a dynamic team that operates as an outpatient office at our Coffeyville facility, engaging frequently through virtual meetings and team collaborations. You can expect diverse work hours, generally from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, utilizing structured interviews and standardized tools to evaluate the psychological needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic methods and are tailored to the developmental stages of your clients.

• Provide therapeutic interventions using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy to address issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers in fostering supportive environments for their children.
\n
• Coordinate care with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that all aspects of a patient’s health and well-being are addressed comprehensively.

• Offer crisis intervention and support in situations where immediate mental health assistance is required.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health symptoms, therapy processes, and available community resources, facilitating understanding and promoting wellness.

• Document patient progress promptly and accurately in electronic health records (EHR), complying with legal and ethical standards in mental health care.

• Engage in regular team meetings to discuss case reviews, share insights, and stay updated on advances in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse group of children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. By addressing these concerns through evidence-based strategies, you will directly influence the quality of life and emotional health of your young clients and their families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active licenses including LCMFT, LCSW, LCP, LCPC, or LSCSW valid in the state of Kansas.
\n
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent developmental psychology and effective therapeutic practices.
\n
• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy, particularly focused on children and young adults.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills and a nurturing disposition to build trust and rapport with clients and their families.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems to maintain detailed and secure patient information.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with youth populations in mental health settings.

• Experience with family dynamics and a solid background in conducting family therapy.

• Knowledge of community resources and referral systems pertinent to youth mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
