In this remote role, you will collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team of child psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential evening shifts required based on patient scheduling needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments of children and adolescents to evaluate their emotional and psychological needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the developmental stages and family dynamics of each patient, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, ensuring an empathetic and supportive approach to foster trust and rapport with patients and families.

• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring that each patient receives holistic treatment.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, equipping families with the tools and resources they need.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and relevant community resources to empower them in their journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in alignment with legal and ethical standards, ensuring seamless communication with team members.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing your insights and experiences to enhance overall care quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. You will engage with young individuals aged 5-18 and their families, developing therapeutic relationships that promote healing and resilience. Understanding the dynamics of family involvement is crucial in this role, as you will work to create supportive environments that foster mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating your capability in the mental health field.

• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience in providing therapy to both individuals and families, showcasing your ability to engage diverse clients.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to a child-centered, compassionate approach.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various therapeutic tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
