This full-time position is conducted in a remote setting, primarily focused on providing outpatient mental health care to children and adolescents. In this remote position, our therapist will work closely with a team of experienced child psychiatrists and mental health professionals. The work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the specific needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate developmental considerations and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, equipping parents and caregivers with tools to foster a nurturing environment for their children.

• Enhance coordinated care by collaborating with child psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive treatment.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques to ensure patient safety.

• Educate young clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with ethical standards and state regulations.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case discussions, and training sessions to foster continuous professional development and learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in clinical settings, particularly with child and adolescent populations.

• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a child-centered approach in therapeutic settings.

• Ability to form trustful relationships with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a range of computer applications.

• Commitment to collaboration and teamwork within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with therapy techniques specific to children and adolescents, including play therapy and family systems therapy.

• Prior involvement in crisis intervention or emergency mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a sign-on bonus for the right candidate.
