Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to identify specific mental health needs and formulate tailored treatment plans that address their unique challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), during sessions with individuals, families, and groups.

• Collaborate closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and school personnel to deliver coordinated care that encompasses the full spectrum of a client’s well-being.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, employing skills to de-escalate situations and provide compassionate support.

• Engage in outreach efforts to educate the community about mental health issues and actively work to reduce stigma associated with mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients encompass a wide demographic spectrum, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. As a mental health counselor, you will work closely with individuals experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and other emotional disturbances, particularly in the school environment, where early intervention is critical for positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• An independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A completed master’s degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
