Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while still providing essential care to our clients. You will be engaging with clients through teletherapy or secure digital platforms, ensuring continuity of care while meeting the needs of patients. Although the standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you may occasionally be required to work evening shifts based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations for children and adolescents to identify their specific needs and challenges.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that consider developmental milestones, psychological factors, and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to deliver effective interventions that address issues like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, assisting parents and caregivers in nurturing a supportive environment for their children.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other health professionals to develop a coordinated approach to treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and effective response.

• Educate and empower patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with state laws and ethical guidelines.

• Engage actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing to a culture of shared learning and professional growth.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents grappling with various mental health conditions. You will be instrumental in addressing issues from anxiety and depression to attention-related disorders and behavioral challenges. Cultivating a warm, trusting relationship with each client will be paramount as you navigate their unique situations and help guide them through their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in New York state.

• Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Proven experience delivering individual and family therapy suitable for a younger clientele.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring a compassionate and empathetic approach toward clients and families.

• Ability to establish rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families effectively.
\n
• Competence with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software applications.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work cohesively as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on improving patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience working directly with children and adolescents is preferred.

• Experience in telehealth practice or remote therapy is an advantage, given the nature of the role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
