This position offers a flexible work setting as a remote telehealth counselor, enabling you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home. The designated working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts necessary to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the specific needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Provide crisis intervention as necessary, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Actively contribute to team meetings and professional development opportunities, sharing insights and staying updated on the latest clinical research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is focused on supporting children and adolescents, ranging from ages 5 to 18, coping with various mental health challenges. As a mental health counselor, you will work with patients facing issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Your work will contribute to their holistic development and emotional well-being, supporting their journey toward recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing counseling services, particularly to children and adolescents.

• Extensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and associated evidence-based treatment methods.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills complemented by a compassionate, child-centered approach to therapy.

• Ability to establish rapport and foster trust with both patients and their families efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. A sign-on bonus is also included as part of the compensation package.
