Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each client's unique needs and establish personalized treatment goals.

• Create individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based interventions tailored to the specific challenges of substance use disorders.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions using therapeutic techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to help clients develop coping strategies.

• Lead group therapy sessions that provide a supportive community for individuals in recovery, encouraging sharing, and mutual growth.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to integrate care and provide comprehensive treatment solutions.

• Provide crisis intervention during substance-related emergencies, offering immediate support and resources to clients in distress.

• Educate clients and their families about addiction, recovery processes, and available community resources to empower them in their healing journey.

• Maintain accurate, secure documentation of all client interactions in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing team meetings, case consultations, and professional development to refine skills and share best practices.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in substance use disorder treatment to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders, guiding them through challenges such as addiction, emotional distress, and co-occurring mental health issues. Your empathetic and non-judgmental approach will be essential in establishing trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds, enabling them to engage fully in their treatment process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work or Counseling.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in Nevada.
\n
• Comprehensive understanding of substance use disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience delivering individual and group therapy within addiction treatment settings.

• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of professional experience in a mental health counseling role, with a focus on substance use disorders.

• Experience in a telehealth environment is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
