Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs. You will develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client goals and circumstances.

• Provide evidence-based therapy services to a variety of clients, employing a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Work collaboratively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that clients receive holistic and coordinated care, enhancing their overall treatment experience.

• Deliver crisis intervention services as needed, applying your expertise to support clients grappling with acute distress or emergencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist at Valor Center, you will engage with a diverse client base, including adolescents, adults, and families from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• A valid and active independent license in one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting therapeutic relationships with clients of all backgrounds.

• Demonstrated cultural competence, allowing you to effectively engage with individuals from diverse life experiences and challenges.

• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail, ensuring timely and accurate documentation compliant with both agency and state regulations.
