This role will focus primarily on delivering specialized therapeutic services via a remote work setting, thereby expanding our outreach and accessibility for clients dealing with challenging mood disorders. Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote setting while facilitating outpatient treatment options for our clients. The flexibility of remote work provides an opportunity for you to manage your own schedule within the established work hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, all committed to effective communication and patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing validated assessment tools.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs, goals, and preferences of each client.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to aid clients in their healing journey.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mood disorders, various treatment options available, and practical self-care strategies to support their recovery.

• Continuously monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists and medical professionals to provide integrated and holistic care for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in mood disorder research and treatment to continually improve our therapeutic practices.

• Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical requirements.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development training to continually enhance your skills.

• Advocate for clients by promoting mental health awareness and addressing their broader needs within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals struggling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Moreover, you will engage with various vulnerable populations, such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, offering them compassionate care and critical support to rebuild their lives.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program is required.

• Demonstrated ability to establish a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship through advanced communication and interpersonal skills.

• Exhibit empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental stance towards all clients and their struggles.
