Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around enhancing the wellbeing of your patients through various therapeutic modalities. Your key duties will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments for individuals and families to develop personalized therapy sessions that address specific mental health needs.

• Facilitating engaging group therapy sessions, fostering a safe and open environment for participants to share and learn from one another.

• Building strong therapeutic relationships with clients while maintaining healthy boundaries and a focus on their recovery journey.

• Exhibiting cultural sensitivity and adaptability in interactions with a diverse patient population, addressing various DSM diagnoses.

• Utilizing psychosocial assessments to tailor treatment plans, ensuring each patient's unique needs are met through individualized care.

• Thoroughly documenting all therapy sessions, treatment plans, and patient progress in compliance with medical necessity standards, ensuring that care is both accountable and effective.

• Actively participating in weekly treatment planning sessions, contributing insights and progress reports to support team decisions for patient care.

• Assisting in the development of Discharge Aftercare Plans to ensure continuity of care after therapy concludes.
\n
• Staying abreast of the latest trends and methodologies in mental health therapy through continual professional development, workshops, and seminars.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role involves working with a diverse range of patients, including children, transitional age youth, adults, and geriatric individuals. You will address their unique psychological and cultural needs, ensuring that every patient feels respected and understood while advocating for their rights and promoting their mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A valid, unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of Nevada.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While the above qualifications are required, preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in community mental health settings or integrated care environments. Experience in group facilitation and therapy, as well as familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
