Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify their psychological needs and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Provide crisis intervention support for children and adolescents experiencing mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques as necessary.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, the therapeutic process, and available community resources to enhance treatment outcomes.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential clinical documentation in strict compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development workshops to enhance skill sets and stay updated on best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support children and adolescents struggling with a variety of mental health concerns. You will primarily work with clients experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other behavioral challenges. Building trust and rapport with young patients is crucial, as it forms the foundation of effective therapeutic relationships and fosters better engagement in their treatment plans.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this role is competitive, lying between USD 80,000 and 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to base compensation, we offer potential bonuses and a generous sign-on bonus to new team members.
