Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that integrate developmental considerations and involve family dynamics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address various mental health conditions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, empowering parents and caregivers to foster a supportive home environment.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a coordinated, comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, working diligently to stabilize patients and provide necessary support.

• Educate young patients and their families on mental health issues, helping them to understand treatment options and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure continuity of care and adhere to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to stay updated on best practices and emerging research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. You will work with young clients who may struggle with emotional, behavioral, and developmental disorders, providing them with tools and therapeutic strategies to navigate their challenges. By engaging with children and their families, you will help create a supportive environment where their mental health needs are prioritized and addressed holistically.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and family therapy tailored to the developmental needs of young clients.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to establish rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications for effective documentation and communication.

• Capability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers an annual salary of $80,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience, along with performance bonuses.
