This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while working closely with a collaborative team of experienced child psychiatrists and mental health professionals. Our working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed to accommodate patient schedules. Our remote setup ensures that you can perform your duties effectively while maintaining work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of children and adolescents seeking help.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that reflect each patient’s developmental stage and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to effectively address a broad array of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Provide family therapy sessions aimed at empowering parents and caregivers, fostering a nurturing environment that supports the child's development.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure consistent and holistic patient care.

• Deliver crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, offering immediate support and resources as necessary.

• Engage with families to educate them on mental health issues, treatment options, and available community support systems.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in accordance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting a diverse range of children and adolescents facing mental health challenges. You will be instrumental in creating tailored care strategies that acknowledge the complexities of each patient's background and circumstances, fostering an environment conducive to healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders as well as proven therapeutic interventions.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills and a compassionate approach to interactions with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Ability to establish trust and rapport with clients, fostering a safe therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a relevant mental health setting focused on children and adolescents.

• Proven experience in delivering effective individual and family therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
