Work Environment\n

This position operates fully in a telehealth setting, allowing for flexibility and the ability to reach clients in a convenient and accessible manner. Fully remote, you will be equipped with all the necessary tools and systems to provide effective care from your location. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify their specific needs and concerns.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient, taking into account their developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.
\n
• Deliver family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers, facilitating supportive home environments that nurture the patient's development.

• Collaborate effectively with child psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure the delivery of coordinated, holistic care.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents, ensuring timely assistance.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to promote informed decision-making.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant documentation of patient encounters in line with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance care and personal professional growth.

• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and advances in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry to continually improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus primarily on a diverse patient population of children and adolescents facing mental health challenges. Your therapeutic interventions will be pivotal in aiding their emotional and psychological resilience and will directly impact their ability to thrive in school, home, and social environments.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, specifically working with children and adolescents in mental health settings.
\n
• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, effective evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic methods.
\n
• Proven experience providing individual and family therapy to young individuals.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate and child-centered approach.

• Strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in relevant computer applications.
\n
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a telehealth capacity is preferred but not required.

• Familiarity with therapeutic frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a plus.

• Previous involvement in crisis intervention scenarios and response is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
