Work Environment\n

This position operates within a telehealth facility that uses advanced technology to ensure reliable and effective patient care. You will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts depending on patient demand. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, identifying their unique needs and challenges.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that consider the developmental stages of your young clients and their family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to address conditions like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to support parents and caregivers, fostering an environment conducive to healing and growth.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated, comprehensive care for your clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, helping to stabilize situations involving children and adolescents.

• Educate patients and families on mental health issues, treatment methodologies, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to stay informed about advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with children and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral issues. Your work will directly impact young people and their families, helping them navigate complex emotional landscapes and promoting overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Georgia, required to practice effectively in this capacity.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure mental health counseling experience is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and therapeutic strategies.

• Experience in providing individual and family therapy, particularly with a developmental approach.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with an empathetic, child-centered manner that fosters trust and communication.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant technology tools.

• Ability to function cohesively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing positively to collaborative efforts.

Compensation and Benefits\n
