Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of children and adolescents during initial consultations.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans that take into account the developmental and familial contexts of each young client.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems therapy, to effectively manage a range of mental health issues.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that empower parents and caregivers, helping them develop skills to nurture supportive home environments.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other professionals in case discussions to ensure integrated treatment approaches.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support for youths experiencing mental health emergencies, offering immediate and effective strategies.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and community resources that enhance overall care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of services provided in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case management discussions, and ongoing professional development sessions.

• Stay current on trends in child and adolescent mental health through continuous education and research, applying new knowledge to your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on young individuals ranging from childhood through adolescence, addressing various psychological issues that affect their growth and development. You will serve a diverse client base that includes children from various backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and contexts that require an understanding and empathetic approach.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in child and adolescent mental health.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, including evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in delivering therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a child-centered approach to therapy.

• Ability to establish trustful relationships with children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Comfort with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant technology for therapeutic practices.

• Capability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing actively to shared goals and patient care strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
