Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and formulate detailed diagnostic evaluations for patients, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate clinical treatment plans tailored to individuals with acute or chronic mental health disorders, while participating in team conferences to enhance treatment strategy selection and implementation.
\n
• Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities to best suit client needs.
\n
• Prepare thorough intake summaries, individualized treatment plans, and ongoing case summaries, ensuring compliance with state regulations and NCQA standards while maintaining confidentiality and improving accuracy in documentation.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to screen and assess patients for psychotropic medications, within your scope of practice, synchronizing care to optimize patient outcomes.
\n
• Potentially supervise Post Masters Fellows, Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage Family Therapists, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors, should relevant supervision training be completed.
\n
• Engage with family members of clients to provide educational support about treatment, assist in fostering adherence to therapeutic strategies, and enhance overall treatment acceptance and success.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will serve a diverse patient population, comprising both adults and children facing various mental health challenges. Your expertise will be particularly valuable for individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological conditions, ensuring a tailored approach to meet each client's unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with experience in community mental health settings, crisis intervention, and a strong background in evidence-based therapeutic modalities. Skills in telehealth delivery and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems are highly beneficial.
