Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of the students.
\n
• Perform initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to monitor client progress and treatment effectiveness.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring alignment with clients’ evolving goals and challenges.
\n
• Actively engage with multidisciplinary teams, contributing insights and strategies that enhance the overall treatment process for clients.
\n
• Provide supervision to Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and/or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors, fostering professional growth and adherence to best practices in therapy.

• Document therapy sessions and treatment plans in accordance with state regulatory standards and organizational protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist will be on students dealing with substance use issues and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will help these young individuals navigate complex emotional landscapes and address relational dynamics affecting their well-being, providing a supportive environment where they can discuss their problems openly and begin to heal.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
\n
• License: You must possess a current and valid license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• At least 3 years of experience in a therapeutic role, specifically with a focus on mental health and substance abuse in adolescents.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
\n
• Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders and substance use treatment is preferred.

• Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• A proven track record of achieving positive patient outcomes in treating mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
