Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices tailored to meet client needs.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments as well as ongoing evaluations to track progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

• Collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, with regular follow-ups to monitor effectiveness.

• Engage actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and recommendations to enhance the overall treatment strategy for students.
\n
• For those in leadership roles, supervise Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and Associate Professional Clinical Counselors, guiding them through complex cases and supporting their professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with young individuals who are navigating the challenges of substance abuse alongside co-occurring mental health issues. Your work will significantly focus on helping students establish coping mechanisms, develop resilience, and improve their interpersonal relationships, both within their families and their peer groups. You will be entrusted with creating a safe and supportive environment where students feel comfortable sharing their experiences and seeking help.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.

• A current, valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least three years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders or related mental health conditions.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• A strong grasp of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals in treatment planning.

• A proven track record of achieving favorable outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders and significant experience working within a school environment.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and families from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
