Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine clients’ mental health needs and establish appropriate treatment goals.

• Developing tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, addressing areas such as trauma, substance abuse, and domestic violence.

• Providing individual and group counseling sessions via telehealth while establishing a trusting rapport with clients.
\n
• Documenting clients’ medical and psychological histories, assessment results, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes with accuracy and confidentiality.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care by coordinating with community resources and support services.
\n
• Facilitating family engagement by assessing their needs and linking them to appropriate community-based services for comprehensive support.
\n
• Educating team members about clients’ psychosocial stressors to align strategies for effective case management.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and face a myriad of challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma history, and addiction issues. You will be responsible for supporting individuals, couples, and families, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their unique circumstances and fostering resilience.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
\n
• Active licensure in California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with a minimum of one year of experience providing therapeutic services to a diverse clientele. Experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, as well as familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and crisis intervention strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
