Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients experiencing major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to client needs.

• Conduct crisis intervention and management as required, ensuring safety and support for clients in distress.

• Manage a caseload of clients by maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency protocols.

• Participate actively in team meetings and collaborative discussions to drive shared objectives and improve service delivery.

• Offer on-call coverage for clients during and after program hours to address urgent needs.

• Engage in committees aimed at improving the quality of services and promoting clinical excellence within the organization.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Current licensure in California as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in the mental health field, demonstrating proficiency in assessment, treatment, and crisis management.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex ideas and foster client relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of three years' experience is required, candidates with advanced training in evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and prior experience in community health settings will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
