Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing comprehensive individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to client needs, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities.

• Conducting initial assessments to gather essential client information and determine appropriate treatment strategies.
\n
• Creating individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress, and adjusting interventions as necessary for optimal outcomes.

• Participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings to formulate and enhance the overall treatment plan, contributing your specialized expertise.

• Level II Additional Duties: Supervision of Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and Associate Professional Clinical Counselors, fostering professional growth and adherence to ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting individuals facing substance abuse issues and co-occurring mental health disorders. Clients may include adolescents, adults, and families grappling with the complexities of recovery. You will work to address not only their mental health needs but also assist in developing healthier interpersonal relationships, contributing to a greater quality of life.

Qualifications\n

The following qualifications are required for this position:

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• A current, valid license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• A minimum of three years of post-licensure experience with a focus on mood disorders and co-occurring conditions.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences would be advantageous:

• Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
