The Developmental Health Rehab and Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Office located in Roseville, California. Work Environment\n

This position allows for a remote work setting while being part of a dynamic outpatient office environment dedicated to child and adolescent psychiatry. Our team works collaboratively to ensure that all children and their families receive comprehensive support. While the primary schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological and emotional needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that take into account each child's developmental stage and family dynamics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address an array of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, helping parents and caregivers create nurturing and supportive environments conducive to their child's mental health.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive and holistic care for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and adolescents.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment possibilities, and relevant community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities.

• Stay informed about the latest research and practices in child and adolescent psychiatry to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.

• Proven experience in delivering therapeutic interventions, both individually and in family settings.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, child-centered approach.

• Ability to build rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families effectively.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.

• Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
