Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct remote therapy sessions with a focus on trauma-informed care, leveraging evidence-based practices to meet clients' diverse mental health needs.

• Assess clients' mental health conditions thoroughly through comprehensive evaluations, using standardized measures and clinical interviews to formulate accurate diagnoses.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client goals, incorporating therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and others based on best practices.

• Implement effective counseling strategies that empower clients to develop practical coping mechanisms, navigate life transitions, and foster resilience.

• Maintain accurate electronic documentation of client sessions, regularly updating treatment progress and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards for record-keeping.

• Engage in collaborative care by consulting with other professionals, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to ensure comprehensive support for clients.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay abreast of current research, emerging treatment techniques, and sector advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. You will be responsible for providing culturally competent care, addressing the unique needs of a diverse clientele, and fostering an inclusive environment in all therapeutic interactions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an active and valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) , Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of California.

• A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in clinical settings, providing mental health therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.

Preferred Experience\n

• Keen knowledge of remote therapy delivery, along with an understanding of child, adolescent, and adult psychological development, mental health disorders, and effective crisis intervention techniques.

• Prior experience working with a diverse population, demonstrating sensitivity and adaptability to different cultural backgrounds.

• While not mandatory, certifications such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma certifications, or specialties in military and trauma care are preferred.
