This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work setting, allowing you to provide care to your clients from the comfort of your own home. Our standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required based on client availability.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify their unique needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider developmental stages, family dynamics, and cultural backgrounds.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at equipping parents and caregivers with tools to foster a supportive environment.

• Engage in crisis intervention and stabilization strategies during mental health emergencies.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current mental health best practices and research to enhance patient care.

• Document all patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training to ensure high-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice primarily focuses on the mental health needs of children and adolescents. Clients often present with challenges including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral disorders. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of child psychiatrists and other professionals to deliver comprehensive care, ensuring that treatment plans address both the mental health concerns and the overall well-being of the family unit.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in New York as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidenced-based therapeutic approaches.

• Proven track record in delivering individual and family therapy, with a focus on young populations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a child-centered approach.

• Ability to foster trusting relationships with children, adolescents, and their families from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to navigate technological platforms effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of experience in the mental health field, particularly working with children and adolescents, is preferred. Familiarity with telehealth practices and remote therapy techniques is a plus, as is experience in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a base salary, you will be eligible for bonuses based on performance metrics.
